Jesus' coming into the world was not solely for the purpose of redeeming mankind from their sins, He also came for the purpose of destroying all the works of the devil in the lives of men. He took on the sins of men and bore the guilt and pains of man's sins. Today's Daily Devotional makes it clear that Jesus did this for man so that man could have the righteousness of God imparted to them and could have their fellowship with God restored. The Devotional concludes that this is the reason Jesus bore man's pains and sorrows. May 10, 2025.
