The Bible does not ever speak well of the devil but as an outlaw. He is described variously as an adversary, archenemy of God and believers, a rebel, and an accuser. His rebellion against God had him kicked out of heaven by God. In today's Daily Devotional, the devil is described, in addition to the above, as one who operates in illegality. He is described as one who operates in illegality, always delighting in afflicting men in a bid to steal, kill, and destroy in their camp. All are admonished to resist him. May 27, 2025.
