There is none who lives on the surface of this earth that is not open to temptation. Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Bible says, was tempted like any other human, but He did not fall into sin -- He did not yield to the temptations giving us a perfect example. Today's Daily Devotional discusses this vital issue of temptation, and affirms that temptation on its own is not a sin, but yielding to it and fulfilling its lusts is sin. The Devotional encourages all to always depend on the power of the Holy Spirit and the blood of Jesus in overcoming whatever temptation that may confront them. July 2, 2024.
