Idolatry is one of the terrible sins that God detests and does not condone. He does not hide His abhorrence for the sin of idolatry, and the scripture is full of warnings to all to run away from the sin of idolatry, as God will always punish the one who engages in it. Today's Daily Devotional makes this warning against the sin of idolatry more resounding for all to hear and to heed.
