God has always been known to be loving and caring to mankind, and more so to those who love Him and are the called according to His purpose. Today's Daily Devotional draws attention to God's demonstration of love to the children of Israel on their way to the promised land from Egypt. It stresses that day and night, God's light and cloud was available to them for illumination and warmth, and for protection from the elements respectively.
