Many in today's world are sold out to the worship of all manners of idols and deities in the name of modernization or civilization. Nations and individuals abandon the true and living God for idols and fake gods under the pretext of freedom of religion. Men may be hiding under their right to freedom of religion in today's democratic world in engaging in idolatry, today's Daily Devotional makes it clear that their action demonstrates nothing but disobedience and rebellion to God, the only true God.
