Jesus came into the world for the redemption of mankind, but in the process He was rejected by the religious leaders of His time, and by the Jews. Today's Daily Devotional makes it clear that Jesus did not suffer rejection because of His sin but because He chose to live and walk with God in righteousness. All are made to understand and embrace the truth that they also will suffer rejection for living in righteousness but that God will always honour them and, like Jesus, make them the chief cornerstone.
