Jesus is called the Son of God and also the son of man in the Bible. Jesus has this dual appellation because He is both human and divine. Today's Daily Devotional points out that Jesus divinity makes Him worthy of man's worship, and His humanity makes Him worthy and capable of redeeming mankind from the power of sin, sickness, and death.
