When God created Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, He instituted marriage in which the man and his wife were to be one - united in love with one another, and united in their love for God. Today's Morning Devotion reminds us that this unity of the man and his wife in marriage has not been done away with as God still demands unity between the couple, and harmony in their home. He made them one from the beginning, and He desires and demands that they remain one. August 16, 2023.
