Jesus' parable of the ten virgins is not only instructive, but deserves close attention and learning from the lessons it provides. Five of the ten virgins, who were wise, had adequate oil while the remaining five, who were foolish, had to go in search of oil at the arrival of the bridegroom they were all waiting for. This state of unpreparedness if these foolish virgins deprived them of being part of the wedding ceremony. The need to be prepared for the coming of the Lord Jesus is what today's Morning Devotion examines. It concludes by asking every believer, "How is your oil?" July 30, 2023.
