The primary reason for Jesus' coming into the world was to reconcile mankind to God, and redeem him from the ravages of sin and from eternal destruction. This is the focus of today's Morning Devotion which makes it clear that when Jesus said, "It is finished," on the cross before His death, He was declaring an end to the enmity between God and man, and an end to the dominion of the devil and sin over man. The dominion and victory that Jesus has obtained for man is now available to everyone who believes and appropriates by faith this work of redemption in his life. July 31, 2023.
