God declared His light to the earth at creation and the void, formlessness, and darkness on the earth gave way to God's light, and everything was beautiful. Then, the devil struck. He deceived man into disobeying God's instructions, and thus brought sin and darkness into the world. Today's Morning Devotion makes it clear that Jesus came into the world to deliver man from this self-induced tragedy, and that with His coming, light came into the world again, and this light, for the nations, has been deposited in those who believe in Him to keep shining to the nations. This is the mandate for every believer, and everyone is encouraged to be faithful. June 23, 2023.
