Jesus categorically told His disciples, who wanted to know when the end would be, that there would be wars and rumours of war, nations rising against nations, famines and pestilences, and earthquakes occurring in different places before the end comes. Today's Morning Devotion focuses on these end time events with a particular attention to Jesus' words that the love of many will grow cold, and affirmed by Paul in declaring that men will begin to resist the truth. These are signs that the end is near, and there is need for vigilance. April 30, 2023.
