Description

One of the most remarkable miracles that God did for the children of Israel while journeying through the wilderness was the daily provision of manna, a special type of bread, for them to eat, for forty years, until they entered into the promised land. In today's Morning Devotion, a contrast is drawn between the manna the children of Israel had in the wilderness, and the Bread of life that believers have access to today. The children of Israel ate the manna but died, whereas those who partake in the Bread of life do not die but receive eternal life. We are reminded that this is because Jesus is the Bread of life, and everyone who receives Him, though he were dead, will live again. August 6, 2023.
