God spoke His light into being at the beginning of creation but then, through the disobedience and rebellion of man by the devil's instigation, darkness entered into the world. Jesus came into the world for the purpose of dispelling the darkness with God's light and to destroy all the works of the devil. Today's Morning Devotion affirms the sweetness of this light that Jesus brought into the world and the need for everyone to desire it and obtain it. May 15, 2023.
