With 17 years of classroom experience in education, Michelle has dedicated her career to supporting students with diverse learning needs. Beginning as a classroom teacher, teaching students in grades 4-6, she transitioned into a special education specialist role, where she worked closely with parents, teachers, and students to navigate the intricacies of special education services. Her expertise included guiding parents through the special education process, contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing direct support to students in grades 4-8, focusing on reading, writing, and math.
Today, Michelle channels her passion for education into her role as an online math tutor for students in grades 4-8, where she continues to make a difference in students' lives. She loves the flexibility that tutoring offers, allowing her to work with students in ways that are tailored to their unique needs, free from the constraints of traditional classroom settings.
