Happy Juneteenth! We've been commemorating the end of slavery for 150+ years now. This is big for our culture, exciting even. However, this day also reminds us that there is plenty of work left to do. This week we are featuring a piece titled "Freedom" by poet Charylle Reynolds. Writing has always been one of her passions and this poem speaks to the pain of historical and recent events that highlight the many reasons we celebrate this day.
