When we chose to approach the subject of green schools early on, we decided to ask students and staff how they would define a ‘Green School’ and if they believed that we were one. After reviewing those interviews, we noticed that everyone had a personal notion of what a green school was, but no idea where the term came from, or how long had it been in our culture; the name made sense--green--but since when have we been using it?
