Description

On today's episode of the Soul Connection Duo Podcast, Alexa and Sydney speak with body work practitioner and founder of Integrative Pelvic Care, Caytlyn Dee! Caytlyn's life mission is to support women on their journeys through healing, and feeling a deep sense of belonging within their bodies and here on this Earth.

Caytlyn shares her story and experiences with childhood trauma, the loss of her sister, and how working through grief really broke her open. Her own healing journey and an incredible experience with a holistic pelvic care practitioner, is what inspired her to pursue this type of work. She quickly realized that pelvic care is what she needed to do and share with other women; she deeply committed to helping women understand and reconnect with their bodies. Caytlyn holds a sacred, tender container for women ready to begin this life changing work.

Throughout this episode, we discuss topics related to how stress shows up in our bodies and how these symptoms appear as a warning sign indicating the need for change, rather than ignoring the underlying issue. We chat about our experiences with different forms of energy and body work, such as craniosacral therapy, massage therapy, and rolfing. Caytlyn shares some of the legalities surrounding body work and pelvic care. We also dive into discussion about birth control, menstruation, the female body, and how we can help to reduce feelings of discomfort, shame and guilt around these topics.

Caytlyn currently offers online programs for women all over the world, as well as in person retreats, energy and bodywork sessions in Denver, CO and Dublin, Ireland.
