It's July 27, 1971, 10 year old Brenda Crockett calls her home and when her little sister answers Brenda says "A white man picked me up and I'm heading home in a cab" before hanging up Brenda said "I think I am in Virginia" and ended the call with a tear filled "Bye". This will be one of the last times Brenda Crockett will be heard from again. Sadly, Brenda joined the list of 6 young girls who were the victims of "The Freeway Phantom".
