1 John 1:9 teaches us that God desires for us to confess our sins to Him. There is nothing that we do that is hidden from God so we might as well talk about it with Him, apologize for it, and ask Him to help us to do better. In so doing, we'll continue to grow in our ability to live our holiest hot mess lives as our confessions cleanse us from our sin.
