In Deuteronomy 8:5-6, Moses reminds the people of the importance of following God's laws and obeying Him. God doesn't want to correct us to be mean, He corrects us to protect us from natural consequences when we do sinful things. As we're living our holiest hot mess lives, let's be mindful that God's correction in our lives is a sign of His love for us.
