Colossians 4:2 reminds us of the importance of persistent prayer. Satan is so very busy distracting us that it's easy to forget to focus on God first. When we are persistent in prayer, and when we stay alert so that we are aware of the attacks of the enemy and aware of others who are in need of prayer, and when we continue to have an attitude of gratitude towards God, then we are truly growing in our ability to live our holiest hot mess lives.
