In Acts 3:19, Peter is preaching to nonbelievers, but his encouragement to repent - to turn away - from sin is still important for believers, too. God has blessed us with two-way communication with Him, so it's important that we use it! When we repent of our sins we refocus our minds on God. The change that others see in us might even encourage them to turn from their own sins or to even begin a life with Christ! So as we continue working towards living our holiest hot mess lives, let's be mindful of what we can repent of while bringing our focus back to God.
