Proverbs 28:14 warns us against living in our stubborn natures. Our flesh leads us to do what we want and to do what we think is best for us, but the Holy Spirit lives in us and is guiding us to live our holiest hot mess lives in a way that is obedient to God. Anything else is disobedience and will lead to ruin.
