Description

Today I'm lounging with Kat Paylor-Bent, founder and Chief Seamstress of Seated Sewing. A business she set up after being made disabled 15 years ago. Kat tells us about the challenges she came across when trying to find a job as a disabled person which in turn made her set up business. The way Kat approaches her disability is simply amazing with a boat load of positivity which helps her to embrace the world around her. Kat has recently featured at London Fashion Week as well as taking Seated Sewing into the first adaptive retail space in London. In this interview we chat about how her business is taking off in a new direction where Kat will be providing consultancy for small businesses who need support in making their companies more inclusive. I cannot wait to see where Kat's business will go in the coming months!
