Jake Fairbanks has experience a lot in his life, even though he is still a young man. As a high school student, Jake was looked up to as a leader in his high school and band when several students ended their lives by suicide in one year. Jake also had the experience of helping provide love, support and encouragement to his mother when she was diagnosed with cancer. Through it all, Jake gave selflessly, and eventually he realized he also needed self-care, and he needed to learn how to create safe boundaries. Jake continues to love, serve, grow and heal and is very active in his men's group. Jake also knows the power of vulnerability in forging deep connections, love and trust.
