Remember that when God created you, He did so deliberately. Just as He wanted. Your height was His choice. Your eye color was His choice. The nail shape of your pinky toe was His choice. That birthmark on the back of your neck was because of His choice and delight. Even the very meaning of your name was given by His choice. The gentleness of your heart and the unique sound of your voice were all pre-selected by the Lord to make you uniquely you. And, it gets even better. Once He finished creating you, He thought enough of you to call you His Masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10).
Celebrate your differences from other people, even the things that you consider to be flawed, simply by saying Thank You to the Lord for them.
Thank You for my moles and the freckles.
Thank You for my sturdy feet.
Thank You for my hair.
Thank You for the curves that I have.
Thank You for my lips.
Thank You for my personality.
Thank You for a sound mind.
Thank You for a peace-making, peace-keeping will.
Thank You for a gentle spirit.
Thank You for girding me with strength and making my arms strong.
Thank You for making everything about me suitable and meet.
I am unique. All of these attributes combined are what make me unique.
Special. Intentionally designed by You for the husband and the purpose that You gave me.
He and I may be anatomically and emotionally different, but You make us compatible.
And, I choose to celebrate that and You today, Lord;
because it is You, Holy Spirit, Who continuously whispers to my heart
that I am fearfully and WONDERFULLY made.
