In Episode 2 Marc shares about his journey into the military at the age of 21 because he was unhappy with the way his life was going. He dropped out of college and joined the military because he didn't know what else to do and was too ashamed to go back to his hometown after dropping out. What unfolded for Marc included feelings of hopelessness, helplessness and a sense that no matter what he did he was going to be belittled by his superiors physically, emotionally, mentally and more. In these moments, Marc made a pivotal decision within, that led to being brave actions that took TRUE STRENGTH and TENACITY unlike he'd ever done before.
