Description

In this episode, I highlight my experience at Mid-State Mile in Franklin, TN this past Father's Day weekend.

It was an incredible environment of individuals coming together to serve one mission, to help each other go as far as they can go with others' support. I distance they could not come close to on their own.

Mid-State Mile event is a 1.1 mile figure eight that has 340ft of elevation gain and loss. It's simple, you have 20 min to complete the loop. If you do, you're still in it. It goes until there is only one left running the last loop on their own.

This creates such a beautiful combination of competition and love for our fellow man/woman that you just want to see them push beyond their own mental and physical limits.

I share what I saw over the course of the weekend and how we can/should apply this to our lives in facing storms that come our way.
