Washington Square is settled within the heart of Philadelphia and has grown and evolved along side the city of Brotherly Love. Although much like Philadelphia, Washington Square has its moments in darkness. The Square itself stands as a cemetery for a few thousand bodies, collected across several epidemics, the Revolutionary War and its stint as a potter's field.
Now, it would seem that the spirits of some of those whose bones remain are still lingering about within the Square. Disembodied voices, strange apparitions and the frequent sighting of a diligent Quaker woman, have all become staples of Washington Square today.
