Description

Join me as I reflect on a call I had once with my partner who to this day I have immense respect and care for.

We were called to stop a vehicle that was used in a crime spree in Squamish B.C. and had fled from local Police. My partner and I attended to this call with a spike belt and ultimately were successful in stopping the vehicle; however, what happened next still shocks me. When we attempted to arrest the occupants of the vehicle and I ended up getting in a foot chase! The foot chase was short lived and to this day brings back lighter memories of policing. The bizarre and shocking things we see that you cannot make up. The funny stories we carry with us for our entire lives.

I keep it light this week and focus on some of the positive stories and aspects of policing. While the career is challenging, there is much to be grateful for as well.

Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoy this weeks episode!
