Well, it’s Election Day, Dirtbags. If you or your friends need a distraction from the goings on over the next few days while we await the results, might I suggest tuning into the awesome conversation I recently had with Jordan Jensen.
A hefty portion of the episode is about doing mushrooms, which I think in itself makes it worth the listen, but really, Jordan is a fascinating and hilarious person who might’ve made it one of my favorite conversations yet.
Jordan is a stand-up comedian who grew up a “hickster” in Ithaca, NY. We talk about her transition from crunchy hippie child to trouble-making mall punk in her teens, and how her “non-traditional” upbringing and education paved the way to her doing comedy in NY.
While the conversation is peppered with hilarious moments as one would expect when you talk to a comedian, in true DBG fashion, we also unpack a lot of issues on both a personal and larger scale. We even get into some personal details about my life and childhood that I haven’t previously shared. I really hope you enjoy the episode.
Safe travels and be kind to each other.
