Fred Claire is well known in MLB circles for his time spent with the LA Dodger organization in many executive positions, including GM!
It was during his first season as GM in 1988 that Fred was able to bring the World Series trophy back to Los Angeles, with Kirk Gibson, Orel Hershiser and other Dodgers' greats.
