Welcome back to Birdz Ain't Real! After a little hiatus, we're back and full of new energy! We're flipping the script a little bit. We're still here to talk about conspiracy theories, but we've decided it's going to be so much more than that. Cryptids, cults, conspiracies, and all things wacky and weird in this world are up for discussion. This week we talk about the Hare Krishna Movement, also known as Krishna Conciousness, also known as ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness). This is a two-parter because of all the information we need to discuss. In this first episode we talk about what the Hare Krishna believe, and get a little into their humble beginnings with A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada coming to America to spread the word of Krishna. We foreshadow a little bit into the troubling time they had up through the eighties, but we won't get to the drugs and murders until part two. Thanks for tuning in!
