NLR India Foundation was established with an aim to help leprosy victims and build their lives through various programmes . NLR India works closely with 150 leprosy colonies in seven states, namely, Bihar, Delhi, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and West Bengal in 129 districts. Since 1999, this non-governmental organization has been at the forefront of the global fight against leprosy.
