This may be our most exciting episode yet as we recently received a $42 million dollar Needs-Based Public School Capital Fund Grant from NCDPI. Plus $10 million dollars from Beaufort County Commissioners. Making this a $52 million-dollar grant! Beaufort County School Board members Eltha Booth and Carolyn Walker along with Dr. Matthew Cheeseman, join in a conversation about the huge need for a new school, replacing two that were built in the early 60s. County commissioners and school Board members unite to make this all come to fruition.
