This week I talk with Dr. Tara Salay, a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist and yoga teacher about her experience as a PT and what led her to pursue becoming a yoga teacher. We chat about the feeling of IC (or any chronic illness) taking over your life and how it can be difficult to gain control back over it. Tara discusses how she helps individuals work through their chronic pain, yoga poses that are helpful for people with IC, and how powerful yoga and mindfulness practices can be to the body and mind.
