Nothing is greater than the Love God has for us. The depth of which we cannot begin to comprehend. All he's asking is we Hold on to Him no matter what. He's not letting Go, so we should not let go too.
The Sacrifice of Jesus is the Ultimate, Total and Complete Sacrifice - There remains nothing more. When we embrace Jesus, we accept this reality. It will be a great injustice to ourselves if we neglect so great a Salvation.
