Am I too heavy? Is my weight making me unhealthy? Would losing "a couple pounds" help me run faster?

I discuss weight with people on a weekly (sometimes daily) basis and am tired of the misinformation from both ends. Weight plays a factor in your running. It's probably not as much of a factor as you think. It's definitely NOT as simple as "lighter = faster."

In this episode, I tried to deliver the truth about weight and running.

If you've ever gotten on the scale and thought "I'd probably be faster if I weighed less," then this is for you.
