WRAPPED IN LOVE! Back to school pt 9, 11/24/19,
1 Co 12:31-14:1, INTRO: Paul explains the use of
spiritual gifts to very young, yet active new ch with no
real ch experience. It seems the ch was in a learning
curve on how to operate in the gifts of the Spirit. In
this season of gift giving, it is appropriate to talk
about gift giving also. In my family growing up
Christmas presents were always wrapped up, half
the fun of Christmas. Unwrapped was not very
exciting. Paul is teaching that; all the gifts of the spirit
should be wrapped up in LOVE. We are to avoid
operating in the gifts for self-gratification or a self-
serving prideful manner but to humbly approach the
gifts with a willingness to help others.
