The Northman is the story of Amleth, the viking legend that inspired Hamlet. Since I haven't read Hamlet, here are the lion king comparisons. Alexander Skarsgard is Simba, Ethan Hawke is Mufasa, Willem Dafoe is Rafiki, Anya Taylor-Joy is Nala, Nicole Kidman is Sarabi, and Claues Borg is Scar. Sadly, we are without Timon and Pumba.
