In a bit of a heavier episode today, Emilie and Hannah talk about burnout in the nursing profession caused by unsafe nurse to patient ratios, short staffing, unfair compensation, mandatory overtime, and unsafe working conditions. We believe these conditions contributed to the medical error made by the nurse RaDonda Vaught, as well as losing the lives of two of our own nurses. We also discuss the news about the potential overturning of Roe v. Wade and our views on abortion as women as well as NICU nurses.
