Coach Collins brings a wealth of experience to the Albright football program. Previously, he served as the defensive coordinator, special teams coordinator, and secondary coach at Bucknell University from 2019-2022. During his time at Bucknell, he led a defense that produced five All-Patriot League honorees, showcasing his exceptional coaching skills.
Before joining Bucknell, Coach Collins held the position of Head Football Coach at both Widener University and Seton Hill University. At Widener, he guided the team to a Middle Atlantic Conference title and a spot in the NCAA Division III quarterfinals in 2012. He was recognized as the MAC Commonwealth Coach of the Year, the D3Football.com East Region Coach of the Year, and the Maxwell Touchdown Club's Tri State Coach of the Year.
Coach Collins also made a significant impact during his tenure at Seton Hill, helping the Griffins achieve their best overall record since 2008 and leading the nation in passing offense in Division II during the 2016 season. He also led the team to an upset victory over No. 14 Slippery Rock in 2015.
Throughout his coaching journey, Coach Collins has made contributions to various institutions, including The Citadel, University of Delaware, College of the Holy Cross, Lehigh University, and Columbia University. His expertise and dedication have left a lasting impact on each program.
