This week on the podcast, we welcome Jason Couch, the esteemed Head Football Coach of Alma College, entering his 7th season in the Fall of 2024. Couch has an impressive record of 37-20, with two MIAA championships and two NCAA tournament appearances. Under his leadership, Alma has seen 40 All-MIAA honorees, 17 All-Region selections, and 4 All-Americans. Couch himself has earned numerous accolades, including being named AFCA Regional Coach of the Year twice.
A 1997 graduate of Alma College, Couch played as the starting center for three seasons and received several honors, including an All-American honorable mention. His coaching journey began as co-head coach at Romeo High School, where he led the team to a state championship and multiple playoff appearances.
