“Brick by Brick”
This week we return to the D3 football scene jumping into the Presidents Athletic Conference. First up is Grove City Head Football Coach Andrew DiDonato.
The Bridgeville native graduated from South Fayette had a family and spiritual calling to Grove City. When football came to and end playing wise, Coach DiDonato traveled up to Buffalo to get his feet wet in coaching.
He returned to the WPIAL, coaching at Peters Twp. Then he got the call to come home to return to his alma mater, South Fayette. 2012-2014 he was the OC for the Lions, helping guide them to a 32-0 stretch between 13 and 14.
Once again the call home came, this time it was to take the leap back into the college game. First as OC 2015 under the tutelage of his former Head Coach Chris Smith and then taking over as the head coach in 2016.
Brick by Brick the Grove City program has become a presence in the PAC. The Wolverines have won at least 8 games the past four full seasons. 4 straight ECAC Bowl appearances and victories.
