This week on DingoTalk, we dive into the inspiring journey of Jeff Behrman '95 as he embarks on his second season as Head Coach in 2024. A former Blue Streak quarterback, Behrman brings a wealth of experience from his 27 seasons in the collegiate ranks, including a remarkable 8-2 season in 2023.
Behrman's coaching prowess was evident during his seven-year tenure as head coach at Union College (NY), where he transformed a struggling 0-10 team into a powerhouse, leading the Dutchmen to a perfect 10-0 season in just four years. His impressive record of 42-20 (.677) reflects his dedication to building successful programs.
During his time at Union, Behrman earned accolades for his exceptional recruiting skills, winning both the 2019 AFCA Region 1 Coach of the Year award and the 2019 Liberty League Coach of the Year award. Under his leadership, the Dutchmen achieved a school-record 21 straight regular-season victories from 2018-2021, solidifying his reputation as a top-tier coach.
