The “Mercury” store update that we talked about about last week appears to be real, lots of interesting changes including new sorting functions, the ability to add games to a wish list, being able to select special editions from the game page, game pages indicating if they are in Game Pass, improved search filters and more.

Xbox will get a brand new mobile app, rebuilt from the ground up. It seems to be very early in development and matches the design language of the upcoming Xbox Store redesign and other more recent Xbox apps.

Halo ODST confirmed for the PC version of The Master Chief Collection later this summer, Firefight will launch at the same time across all versions of the game (it was absent from The Master Chief Collection on console)

Starting with the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X bundle, Xbox consoles that come with games will no longer give codes, but instead will have the included games pre-loaded on the console through the Xbox Digital Direct program. Essentially, when you boot up the console for the first time it’ll have you sign into your Xbox Live account and the included games will become tied to that account. Once it’s been claimed, you’re unable to redeem on another account.

Need for Speed Heat comes to the EA Access Vault, gets a cross-platform patch, new Need for Speed game announced, developed by Criterion.
THQ Nordic have announced Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, a remake of the original game that includes all of the game’s DLC and new features and upgrades. It’s coming to Xbox One on August 10th!
