DIFFERENCES AND UNITY
During stressful times, it is easy for any of us to join in the criticism of others and in finger pointing. Unkindness prevails and thoughtless words deepen divides.
But there is another way. It is a way that says what we hold in common is more important than our differences. A way that seeks not to tear down, but to build up and to work together. A way that emphasizes our common humanity and the value of our relationships.
This is the way we find made possible by God through Jesus Christ. In Jesus, differences are valued but do not divide. Differences become strengths, building unity.
