Leyla is a senior at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a major in early childhood education and minors in early childhood special education and environmental education. She has competed on the swim team at UWSP throughout her 4 years in college and has been powerlifting for 2 years. Through her short life she has learned many important lessons that have guided her on her path; practice gratitude and be kind. She hopes to instill these lessons into the next generation of students as a teacher, while continuing to practice her own personal development and enjoying nature.
